Junior cloud and DevOps engineer with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Azure PaaS, and ASP.NET Core. I recently completed a DevOps internship at CodeAlpha, where I built pipelines, containers, and Jenkins agents from scratch.

A developer turned cloud engineer

I started in software development, building applications with C# .NET and Python, then moved into IT and application support, managing Linux and Windows Server environments. Combining code and core infrastructure is what drew me to cloud engineering.

I'm currently building CloudDesk, a cloud-native IT support ticketing system on Azure, to deepen my hands-on skills with Azure App Service, SQL Database, Blob Storage, Bicep, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.

Based in Lahore. Graduated with a BS CS from Virtual University of Pakistan. Most recently I completed a remote DevOps internship at CodeAlpha, building CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and Jenkins agents.

CI/CD pipeline on Azure

Complete

A full pipeline for an ASP.NET Core API. Azure Pipelines builds a multi-stage Docker image, pushes it to Azure Container Registry, then deploys it to Azure App Service. Runs on a self-hosted agent, and the deployed app is verified through its /health endpoint.

CloudDesk: Azure IT support ticketing system

In progress

A cloud-native IT helpdesk ticketing system built on Azure to demonstrate real-world PaaS skills. Features full CRUD ticket management, file attachments via Blob Storage, live monitoring with Application Insights, Bicep-based infrastructure as code, and a GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline. Designed with managed identity, so there are no secrets in code.

Restaurant Management System

Complete

A desktop application for restaurant order and menu management, built with C# and .NET Framework. Covers order tracking, menu CRUD, and reporting. Later hardened by fixing SQL injection, plaintext password storage, and hardcoded credentials, and by migrating reports from Crystal Reports to RDLC.

  1. DevOps Intern

    CodeAlpha, Remote (1 month)

    • Built a CI/CD pipeline in Azure Pipelines that builds a Docker image, pushes it to Azure Container Registry, and deploys to Azure App Service
    • Containerized an Nginx web server with health checks and documented its container lifecycle
    • Set up a Jenkins controller and a remote agent in Docker and ran distributed builds on it
